The back end of the bed is quite a bit deeper than originally planned, but the bed will be level after the bark and compost are shoveled in. The bags are bark. Compost is in the wheel barrow.
I am a baby boomer, born in 1949. I grew up in Texas and Kansas and gardened in both states. This is the first time I have grown vegetables in 25 years. Times have changed and so has the food we purchase in the grocery store. Having time to grow my own is a blessing from God.
